I Never Thought Love Would Come With a Download Button
I never thought I’d read the words “He proposed to an AI” and have to pause; not to laugh, but to think. Yet here we are! When I came across the story of a U.S. father who fell in love with a voice-based AI and proposed to it, something in me tightened. Not because it sounded ridiculous. But because it didn’t sound impossible anymore.

How Mindset Shifts Can Solve Frustration In Modern Dating
Contemporary dating can be frustrating as expectations do not meet each other, or there is tiredness of digital interaction or recurring disappointments. Psychologist Sherry Turkle reports that technology has the ability to increase a feeling of endless possibilities, but also emotional slobbering. Singles can experience the pressure to respond fast, portray a perfect version of themselves, or avoid ghosting. The first mindset shift is to appreciate the fact that frustration is usually related to the systemic problems, but not to individual ineffectiveness. Being conscious enables one to separate the value of selfhood and the results of dating and to engage in the process with increased emotional fortitude.

Everyone Wants to Be Rich — But No One Talks About Financial Anxiety
The Race to Succeed Before 25 : Nobody warns you that chasing money can quietly steal your peace. From a young age, we are taught to dream big. Be successful. Earn well. Build a life that others admire. Somewhere along the way, success became equal to income. And income became equal to worth. By the time we turn 18, the race begins. Graduate early. Start earning early. Succeed early. If you’re not financially stable by 25, society makes you feel like you’ve already lost. Relatives ask about your salary before asking about your happiness. Social media shows people your age buying cars, traveling abroad, launching businesses. Every scroll feels like a reminder: You are behind. But behind what exactly? No one really explains that life is not a stopwatch competition. Yet we keep running as if it is.

Clinical burnout is most often dated to repetitive disappointment, as opposed to a single unpleasant experience. The awareness of this trend is the initial step to prevent. Rather than bringing a conclusion that they are naturally wrong, singles have an opportunity to explore the systems and practices that make them feel exhausted.

What's My Name?
Alan Gold asked me about why I had a double name on Facebook and Vocal. I thought I had written about this on Seven Days In but I couldn’t find any trace of it to fill out this piece. I mean this is just about how I got a nickname and appropriated it for myself.

The Weight of Almost
There is a particular kind of ache that does not scream. It does not demand attention the way heartbreak does. It does not bruise the way failure does. It lingers quietly, settling somewhere between memory and imagination. It is the ache of almost.

Women History Month Celebrates: Ashley Bookashy
Nearly five years ago I started working at my current job and in the mornings when I first got there a girl in a red Kia parked next to me every morning. As this went on the first few months on the job we started interacting and joking about how we kept parking next to each other, but in time this great woman would end up being my best friend.
