My father has made an imprint on my journey with his unshakable love, unfailing support, and priceless life teachings. One particular lesson he taught me has profoundly impacted me and changed how I see the world and myself. Thanks to his coaching, I've learned the value of resiliency and the importance of having a firm belief in my own skills.

"Nothing But Fear..." - A Mechanic's Misguided Design. Content Warning.
The way I see my family now is very different from how I viewed them all just a few years ago, before my identity crisis began. Perhaps the one that hurts the most to realize didn't have my best interests at heart is my dad. It was somewhat expected with my mother, and my relationship with my (half-)sister has always been a detached, one-and-done type of failure, so those are easier to accept.

Thank you father
Thank you father for being the help that gave birth to me, to have me come into such a beautiful, natural world with nature and human-made wonders all around me. Thank you for being by my side all these years and teaching me lessons about life in your own special way. As I grow older now, I see things more clearly from your perspective, although I resented them for quite a long time. I see where things went wrong and I see how you thought what you did was right and how you hold onto your arrogance that you are right through all that you have done for the family.

It’s not true of course.
