The Future of Household, Wellness, and Health Product Shopping
If you have never heard of Melaleuca before, you are probably pretty skeptical right now about "just another one of these subscription scam websites." I personally have been looking for meal replacement type products (currently waiting on some Soylent to ship), and I am definitely going to be ordering some protein shakes, vitamins, sports drink mixes, and energy bars from this website.

Disc Golf Changed My Life
The first time I ever played disc golf was the result of a friend of mine bugging me about it for a good month solid. He kept telling me about this thing where you take Frisbees that aren’t actually Frisbees and throwing them around in the woods.

Old You Vs. Current You: Getting Yourself Healthy (While Still Getting Your Fun On)
Today when I was getting my grocery shopping done, I thought of how I like having some kind of fruit juice and a carbonated drink (like Sprite or seltzer) and that does it for me on a Saturday night. It's basically a non-alcoholic drink that I'll have, (with some crushed ice because why not), along with some popcorn and chips. That's my party thing. I compare that to myself 5 years ago, when I would have about two alcoholic drinks (and a lot more chips), and then feel like shit the next day. It got me thinking, gee, I really love not drinking anymore. But besides that, taking care of yourself is the most important decision you can make. And the best part is, you don't have to do much to make smart choices. I'm not here to get you ready to get the gym bag ready or whip out the weights, I'm just here to talk about small choices that make big differences.

Why You Aren't Seeing Results
I mentioned that the law of attraction highlights putting out whatever you want to receive. This concept is a lot simpler than your ego self would like you to believe. Unfortunately, there is part of you that wants to stay wherever you are in life, even if it is making you unhappy, because you feel like it is the safest route. This mindset causes increased anxiety when you have to change. If you do not sacrifice & change for your own best interest, the universe will cause this change for you. Sometimes this change can even seem traumatic but it is always for the best. Now you’re probably thinking that can’t be true, but that’s just your ego self kicking in again. If you do not take the chance to change your life & you to continue to feed yourself negativity, then negativity will once again find you in your new environment. You have to change your mind to change your environment.

Helicopter Parent
Today, I want to talk about the label “Helicopter Parent.” It is a label that I cannot stand, but I will wear with pride. It is used a lot, when school staffers discuss ASD parents, who are in constant contact, requesting modifications, updates, meetings and accommodations for their children.

Holistic Medicine Explained
Holistic medicine treats the body as a whole instead of parts. Conventional medicine is used to cure disease, while holistic medicine will balance the body. The practice of holistic medicine has been used in many different cultures and in many different ways to bring a balance within the body and mind. Current holistic principles are to obtain optimal health by helping the patient mentally, physically, and spiritually; treat with love and unconditional acceptance, and establish a relationship so the patient realizes they are not a statistic to you.

School Bullying and Autism
In this next part of my series about the struggles of children with High Functioning Autism, I would like to address bullying in school. I would like to thank my fellow Aspie mom, Karen West, for some of her bullying insight, that helped make this article possible.
