My Top 25 Favorite Songs of All Time
#1 - I'll Fall With Your Knife by Peter Murphy I got a tattoo of some of the lyrics to this song: The words, "with a broken wing you sail," embedded in the wing of a red-tailed hawk. A song about unconditional love and devotion, this one still gives me chills every time the first few notes start playing. And Peter Murphy's hauntingly baritone voice is so soothing.

My Top 10 Favorite Coldplay Songs
#1 - Fix You, Released 2005, X&Y Album Fix You is a song that is very near and dear to my heart. I learned to play it on the guitar when I was 12 years old and it was always one of my dad's favorites. It's a beautiful yet surreal song about offering support and guidance to those in the throws of grief. While the beginning alludes to feelings of regret and emotional exhaustion, trying your best but not succeeding, by the end, we are reminded to never give up. Healing and love can always be found, even in the darkest times, just know "lights will guide you home."

Zoey's Extraodinary Playlist?
Can I be totally transparent? Yes? Okay, I haven't really been that interested in anything I have absorbed on television or the internet in years. To be quite frank, art however, subjective it always turns out to be has really been lacking for me, personally, as a viewer of the craft. Ever since the pandemic, it feels like, nothing seems to be interesting or entertaining. Everything seems almost dull or is trying a bit too hard to be something it's clearly missing the mark in.

The Importance of Real Stuff
I heard that reading books and buying them are two different hobbies. I do read a lot, though if I am being honest it's mostly via audiobooks and when printed, the books come from the library. You'd think then, that my money is, in regards to books, safe in my wallet or in my bank.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple Movie Review
After years in hibernation, the 28 Days Later series returned in 2025, picking up with the running dead and adopting a more emotional tone. The wait for the follow-up was short and has ultimately been worth it. Not only is 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple a vast improvement over the last film, it finds a place among the best films of 2026.

When Ice Becomes a Battlefield
For most of the world, Greenland exists as a blur on the edge of the map—vast, frozen, distant. A place of ice sheets and silence. A place you don’t think about unless you’re scrolling past climate headlines or watching a documentary late at night.
