Tomb Raider Retrospective - 3
Core Design had been having a hard time getting things right for the new wave of consoles at the time. Several of their titles PS 2 titles sold poorly, and it appears that Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. Now, the Tomb Raider IP had already started its decline at this point. Chronicles did okay, sales-wise, but it had a number of game-breaking bugs which left gamers frustrated. With that in mind, the reviews weren’t exactly glowing.

Call of Duty: Ghosts (2013)
So, I've reviewed a handful of Call of Duty titles by now, and I've had a great time doing it. World at War was a dark, grim portrayal of WWII that was really good. Black Ops was a Cold War thrill and the Modern Warfare trilogy was an action-movie extravaganza.

Star Wars: TIE Fighter (1994)
So, earlier this year - around the second week or so of January - I reviewed Star Wars: X-Wing. That was my very first flight simulator, and to say I had a hard time with it would be...an understatement. As I said in my review, there was a lot of mucking about to get the thing to run, and even when I'd gotten it running, there were some significant problems.

Crime Chronicles: The Black Widow of La Porte
We're back with the Crime Chronicles series, and this time we're looking at another mystery of sorts. We've covered a few different killers over the course of the series, and many of them were very messed up in the head. Of course, many of them got their comeuppance in the end - in this case...not so much.

Spectral Sails: RMS Lusitania
Welcome to the first edition of Spectral Sails for 2026. This time around, we're looking at a shipwreck that happened all the way back in 1915. The ship in question, the RMS Lusitania, was an ocean liner that met her end at the hands of a German U-Boat, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
