I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

Utrecht
Utrecht This is a gorgeous city resting in the middle of The Netherlands. It takes pride in its canals and boats. It's one of the biggest cities in The Netherlands and also one of the oldest. Like Amsterdam, it is very easy to rent a bike or hop on a boat. It also boasts a string of great bars, shops, and restaurants, and many of them rest upon the canals. Luckily, many of these places don't hold the hefty price tag of the country's capital city. I've been to the city twice. Once two years ago when I spent a whole day there and last year, but wasn't there for as long. It's one of my favourite cities in Europe because of its nice shops and lovely scenery.

My Experience in Japan
Ever since I was little, I always felt that Japan was my home. It was strange, I was born and bred in jolly old England. I always felt as if I was from another country. I liked my tea without milk and sugar and I preferred spontaneous meals and food as opposed to the traditional meals. I also loved green tea, Battle Royale, Sushi, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, and other iconic manga/anime like Naruto and Digimon. What did they all have in common? They all originate or at least are associated with Japan! When I studied Japan in Geography I became interested in the country even more. I loved the sound of the cherry blossom trees and trains that actually came on time. I thought that Japan would be a perfect place to visit too.

The author is quite known to inspiring writers and readers around the world. Stephen King is a highly successful author from America who has sold over 350 million copies of his works worldwide. He is most known for his interesting horror novels that have been adapted to movies and comic books. He is best known for his horror novels such as It, Carrie, The Shining, Misery and The Dark Tower series. A lot of people I know have said their favourite novel from King is It, which was converted into a film that starred Tim Curry.

The Sixth Wife
Katherine Parr had been a widow three times, and this book is written in the point of view of the Queen Dowager's best friend, Catherine, the Duchess Of Suffolk. Katherine Parr is an unusual subject for a novel and the famous rhyme about the fate of Henry's wives ends with her. Katherine is known as the survivor because she outlived Henry, but the marriage was not scandal-free. She was almost executed for heresy.

The Phantom of the Opera
Introduction The Phantom Of The Opera is a story that has been retold many times since it was first published over a century ago by the French writer, Gaston Leroux. It's been the base of countless films, plays and musicals. The most famous being the west-end musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical remains one of the most popular musicals in the world. The novel where everything starts off is just as worthy in my opinion.

'A Simple Story' by Elizabeth Inchbald
Introduction A Simple Story isn't a very good title in my opinion. Why title your story a simple story when readers can read tales of adventure or about specific characters? To my surprise, I actually enjoyed the book. This review will aim to be spoiler free.

Amsterdam
When I first said I was going to visit Amsterdam, many people thought I going there purely to get stoned. I did try the stone cakes and cannabis ice cream, but I think they're a waste of money. Not only did they not taste very nice, but they also didn't make me high. Maybe there wasn't enough to get me high or maybe I'm just that crazy that they have no effect on me. Drugs aside, I mainly went to Amsterdam to meet up with a friend who lives in Eindhoven. Another thing that Amsterdam is famous for is its lively red-light district. It's the perfect place for a stag do.

'Harry Potter & The Cursed Child'
The Book There's a lot about this book that makes it stand out from its seven predecessors. The most obvious one is that Harry isn't at school anymore, and the other big one is in the writing itself: it's the script of the show. Those expecting a long epic novel will be very disappointed indeed. A lot of fans seemed to be alienated by the format, but I was able to take it in quite well, having been able to read the book in one sitting.

Dordrecht
Introduction In my trip to the Netherlands last year, Dordrecht was one of the many lovely places I went to for the day. It's an old city with a strong economy located in the south of Holland and is a place that not many people outside of The Netherlands have heard of very much, but it's easy to find lots of information about the area with a simple google search. It's technically an island, but because of the strong transport links and because it's not very isolated, it doesn't feel like an island. I think it's a shame that not many people know about the place, and I think it looks like a lovely place to live.

7 Crazy Writing Tips
As writers, we get loads of advice thrown at us all the time. Do this, do that, don't use this word or that word or you suck, so please stop writing. We know that we have to edit, proofread, and have a good grasp of grammar and spelling, but we all know that isn't enough for a good story. In my experience, many readers are happy to read writing with lots of technical mistakes if they're engrossed in the story and the characters.

101 Words
101 Words Flash fiction has risen in popularity to the point that writers are challenging themselves to write stories in certain word limits. Zero Flash has a limit of 300 words. A few sites do 100 words. It varies depending on what the editors and publishing houses want. 101 Words wants 101 words: nothing more and nothing less. I believe that this is one of the more well-known flash fiction sites as it's one that is mentioned in a lot of writing circles I partake in.
