When Light Finds Breath

The moment before the surface moves

Light moves through stillness

a soft spill over glass water

where silence holds its breath

waiting for something to stir

The world paused

folds into itself

a faint shimmer wakes

touches a single wave

barely there

yet enough to tremble the calm

Between what was and what will be

a crease of brightness bends

folds open like a secret

spoken without sound

Time eases into the moment

an unspoken invitation

to draw closer

to see the shift

a glance caught

a flicker of clarity

the edges softened

the surface changed

Sunlight lingers at the rim

of everything

holding the stillness

with tender fingers

making the quiet visible

a pulse beneath the skin

that waits to ripple

In that breath

a world unfolds

with the softness

of light finding itself

in the pause that holds motion
