Uncrushable

By Harper LewisPublished about 18 hours ago Updated about 17 hours ago 1 min read

When does a secret crush become

Dangerous

?

Can crushing be invasive?

Sexuality sabotaged into someone else’s

Fantasy

.

Smokestack

Lightning

Locomotives and raging rivers

A simple hurricane, a brief tornado

Fewer than five Richter points

Slipping scales dipping into tipping

Stasis?

Stasis?

Bueller?

What if you never wanted to see

her razor sculpting hair

above her pubic bone? Prefer a

bone of my own,

filleted away

from whatever gives it life,

makes it sing and dance

inside me

where only

a bone can go

Some flowers reject crushing,

thorns waiting, spindles thirsty for blood

under velvet petals.

I'm a weirdo nerd who’s extremely subversive. I like rocks, incense, and witchy stuff. Intrusive rhyme bothers me. Some of my fiction might have provoked divorce proceedings in another state.😈
