Dance it out

My mind starts up before I wake

Constantly running like a

Broken ticker tape

Frozen, I await the silent alarm

Haunted by specters

Psychically barraged

🧠𖡎ᯓ‎𝄞 ˎˊ˗

Rising from my crypt-like bed

The layers load inside my head

The running narration of all that I see

The analysis of what it all could mean.

The sparks of interest that capture me

🧠𖡎ᯓ‎𝄞 ˎˊ˗

Danger warnings, reminders, and flags waving red

I’ve got planning and panicking to do

My head and heart run the house end to end

Music helps soothe

Hushes the snowing static

Brand-new layers forming in their stead

Colors and wavelengths, flashes of sound

A dance starts reeling in the background

Focus draws up new choreography

Until feelings transform

Assisting words to solidify

🧠𖡎ᯓ‎𝄞 ˎˊ˗

If the enrapturing melody ends

Pain and terror truly set in

Silence, the enemy of

My mind on its wild ride

The bubble of silence bursts

Sense fearfully flees

Getting lost in vast, crowded avenues of

Rage, despair, and devastation

Spinning out of control, spotting as I go

I find a clear direction

Enact my daring Pas de Couru

Shattered, silence

Trampled under each

Carefully placed step

🧠𖡎ᯓ‎𝄞 ˎˊ˗

Power returns

Dazzling and effusive

Not fritzing out, on the brink

I set myself a brand new task

To prepare, renew, and relax

Translate motion and energy

Into words running page to page

The rush of creation

Eases my rushing brain

🧠𖡎ᯓ‎𝄞 ˎˊ˗

At the end of the day

I lay me back down

Thoughts going full steam

Stillness and silence

Only revealed

Once consciousness fully

Slips away
