Watching you sleep
Now a favourite past time
Your angelic face so lovely
It is in these moments I forget
All the ups and downs we’ve had
The screams and the tantrums
Your favourite word ‘no’
The stomping of your feet
An angry face
A dropped moody walk
Your scoffs and scowls
All forgotten in this one calm moment
Complete Unproductiveness
Your little chest rising and falling
Listening to the sweet silent breathing
I can’t peel my eyes away
Even for a second
Could just watch you forever
Stroke your cheeks with my finger
So peaceful in your land of snooze

Review of 'Man on the Run'
My wife and I saw Man on the Run, a nearly 2-hour documentary on Amazon Prime, about Wings, Paul McCartney's group that flew around the world from shortly after The Beatles broke up in early 1970 to shortly after John Lennon was murdered at the end of 1980, making a Beatles reunion forever impossible.
