No One Understands

When No One Understands

I speak, but no one seems to hear,

My thoughts and words simply disappear.

It’s as if my voice goes unheard,

My opinions, dismissed like a forgotten word.

I try to explain, with passion and care,

But my words fall on deaf ears, it’s just not fair.

They nod and smile, but don’t comprehend,

They don’t see it from my point of view, my friend.

I feel alone, and misunderstood,

Like only I can see what’s truly good.

But even though they don’t agree,

I know within myself, what I see.

I’ll stand my ground, strong and true,

My beliefs and opinions, I’ll continue to pursue.

For even when no one is on my side,

I’ll stay true to myself, and in my opinion, abide.

In the end, I’ll find my voice,

And they’ll hear me, this is my choice.

For though my words and thoughts they may not see,

I know within myself, what I truly believe.
