Sir Winston slept thrice

Tucked beneath foggy London

Others? With his charges

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A/N:

Per the Churchill War Rooms Museum (a great visit) despite having his rooms furnished within the bunkers, Churchill only slept there three times, and that was for operational reasons. Otherwise, like the King, he felt it his duty to sleep amongst the population and face the bombs as they did.

Any relation to news about administration officials being moved to military housing is, I can assure you, strictly conincedental.

So good & currently relevant, even if coincidentally, & poignant. I'd love to visit the Churchill War Rooms Museum someday.

A leader not striving to the utmost to differentiate and remove themselves from the general population is a rare thing.
